The Rotary Club is an international, cosmopolitan, young dynamic club with over twenty members from various professions (bankers, artists, event coordinators, social services, etc) and from countries all over the world (England, Netherlands, Germany, France, Japan, Bolivia, Ecuador and the United States).
The inaugural lunch of Rotary Club Wharf was held in March 1931, with a record gathering of 112 Rotarians from clubs in the district. At the Charter night on the 19th October 1931, there was 100% attendance; each of the 56 clubs in the district being represented. The club started with 32 founders members.
Today, the Rotary club of Canary Wharf is active in a number of projects to benefit the community, both locally and internationally, whilst enjoying fellowship and fun.
